Kevin Owens has been a busy man and a top guy for WWE for the last several years. He’s worked in WrestleMania main events, he’s held gold. He most recently turned heel on Cody Rhodes, a move many had been expecting for a while. Owens doubled down on that when he also attacked Randy Orton after the Viper tried to play peacemaker. Orton playing peacemaker never ends well.

But will he stick around

There has been talk in recent weeks about Kevin Owens and his contract status. At one point, some believed he had re-signed. WWE certainly wasn’t using him like someone about to exit the company. But we knew as of recently that he had not inked a new deal. But according to a report from Bill Apter and WrestleVotes, that may have changed.

Per the report, the deal is likely not yet signed. However, the framework for that deal is believed to be in place, and WWE and Owens likely have a handshake deal at this point. Of course, handshake deals only mean so much. After all, Cody Rhodes and Tony Khan had a handshake agreement-and then Rhodes left for WWE. Someone the stature of Kevin Owens would certainly be of interest to AEW. However, Owens himself has previously made comments that make him sound like he’s going to stick with WWE for as long as they will have him. It seems it is not a question if Kevin Owens will re-sign, but when. So, do you think if Kevin Owens does re-sign with WWE, it is the best decision for both parties?
