WarGames is, by design, a violent and dangerous match. Oftentimes, post-WarGames, there are a few Superstars dinged or banged up.

The men’s 2024 WarGames match was no different. Watching it live, Jacob Fatu looked legitimately hurt following a splash. That one was more just a selling decision, and according to reports, the Samoan Werewolf is fine. But not everyone made it through the match unscathed.

We learned during the post-Survivor Series press conference that two other Superstars were not so lucky. Jey Uso revealed during his time to speak that his brother Jimmy broke a toe during his big top-of-the-cage splash.

Triple H also later revealed that Big Bronson Reed was worse for wear following his own big Tsunami from the top. And now with the benefit of some time, we have more insight, especially for Reed.

According to Fightful, the Reed splash was always planned to effectively take him out of the match. That much held true, and he was a non-factor afterward. However, per the report, there are concerns that Reed sustained injuries to not one, but both of his ankles in the process.

After all, Reed is a big man. Big men like Reed aren’t supposed to make big leaps especially not big leaps from the top of a steel cage. He did, and it was awesome (even though he put only himself through a table). Now, we wait to see how much time he might miss.

The benefit (perhaps) now? There isn’t a lot going on for WWE for a bit. Yes, Saturday Night’s Main Event is in just under 2 weeks. That’s it though. Everything else from now until the Rumble? It’s house shows or episodes of RAW and SmackDown. Put another way? If you need a couple of months to recover, this is the best time on the WWE calendar to do it.
