We have not seen her in over a year and a half, but is WWE Superstar Alexa Bliss nearing her return to the ring?

The former champion and new mom made some noise recently when pictures of her surfaced, showing off a new look. Gone are her signature hot pink locks. Little Miss Bliss was shown rocking an all blonde head of hair. Nothing wrong with that, blondes have more fun and all. But some fans took the picture and makeover to point to a possibly impending return to the ring.
Is she close?
The short answer, hair color be damned, is probably. Bliss last wrestled at the 2023 Royal Rumble in a losing effort. Shortly after that defeat, she learned she was pregnant and has been sidelined ever since. She and her husband welcomed their baby daughter in November. Each person is going to take their own time to recover and return. But, with that said, odds are pretty good that Alexa Bliss has been cleared to return, or will be cleared soon enough.
Now, when we saw Bray Wyatt return to WWE, there was some thought that we could see a Wyatt/Bliss reunion. Sadly, any possible one fizzled following Wyatt’s stunning death. With Bo Dallas seemingly moving forward with the Wyatt 6 faction, some wondered if we would see Alexa reprise her role in the group, honoring her former colleague in the process. However, all signs point to Nikki Cross being the female member in the yet-to-be-revealed (officially) group.
Still, I think it’s fine for fans to be optimistic that they will see Superstar Alexa Bliss return to WWE soon. As others have pointed out, SummerSlam is just around the corner. And it’s right in Bliss’s backyard. Whether she returns in time to be on that card, or returns at the show itself, my money is on WWE fans seeing Alexa Bliss back in the ring by then.
