With the big event right around the corner, don’t expect CM Punk at Crown Jewel in November.

Crown Jewel is beginning to live up to it’s name as a major event on the WWE calendar. While it had, at times, been giving us less than exciting cards, things may be looking up. Triple H introduced two new belts that will be won at the event. It may not make it one of WWE’s fabled “Big Four” premium live events, but it’s still elevating it to something bigger than I ever expected.
As big as it is, all the big Superstars are going to be there, right? Heck, in years past we’ve even seen WWE leverage the Saudi investment in order to bring in legends and Hall of Famers-for better or worse. We already know to expect Cody Rhodes battling GUNTHER for one of those crazy new belts. Nia Jax and Liv Morgan will fight for the other one. Will we see CM Punk make the trip?
Don’t expect it
On the October 7th RAW, CM Punk opened the show. He acknowledged the toll Hell In A Cell took on him and his body. And then he said he was going to take some time away to recover. As he exited, he had a run in with Seth Rollins. Those two, of course, were supposed to face off at WrestleMania in Philadelphia. Those plans were forced to change on the fly when Punk got injured during the 2024 Royal Rumble.

According to Fightful, Punk is indeed taking some time away. He is not planned for Crown Jewel, nor has he been. He definitely showed the effects of the battle, so there is understandably some recovery that has to take place. While I am sure that CM Punk could have worked a massive match at Crown Jewel, it does not appear to be in the plans for 2024.
