WWE superstar Liv Morgan was arrested on Thursday, but she is already a free woman. So, what caused the popular wrestler to being charged?
WWE Superstar Liv Morgan Arrested
On Thursday, Liv Mogan ended being arrested and charged in Florida. Morgan, real name Gionna Daddio, was charged with possession of synthetic cannabinoid, possession of marijuana and possession of drug equipment.
She was booked at the Sumter County Detention Center before being released after posting $3,000 bond.
The 29 year old was stopped on County Road 476 in Sumter County around 6:30 pm. Her car allegedly crossed the yellow and white lines on the roadway several times.
Police pulled Morgan over and they smelled marijuana. A plastic bag was found inside a pink, fuzzy bag in the jeep.
Also, the center console had a vape pen containing an oil-like substance. Reports from the scene state the substance tested positive for marijuana.
We will see if WWE takes any actions. When it come to the Wellness Policy, she has not violated any rules.
Recently, WWE has not been strict when it comes to marijuana.
Typically, we hear about wrestlers getting busted for alcohol type charges. There are not many about marijuana, but that could change as more states legalize or soften their stance.
Before all this, Morgan had not been on WWE TV due to injury. Although, she was spotted with John Cena and MJF as The Iron Claw sets to premiere.
Outside of the law, Morgan had been doing great in WWE. She won Money in the Bank last year and then successfully cashed-in on Ronda Rousey.
Besides her SmackDown Women’s Championship reign, she was also a two-time WWE Women’s Tag Team Champion.
Morgan has been off WWE TV since around the summer. No word on when she could return, but some thought next month’s Royal Rumble.
So, will WWE take any action against Liv Morgan over her arrest?
