WWE RAW has found a new home in Netflix starting in 2025 and The Rock was just been named to the TKO Board of Directors.

Since 1993, RAW has been a regular fixture on the USA Network. There was talk WWE was shopping around for a new place to air RAW and they landed with Netflix.
Then, WWE confirmed how their staple show will begin airing on January 2025. It will affect those in the United States, Canada, England and Latin America.Other countries will be named throughout the year.
The deal runs for 10 years and is worth over a $5 billion.
“In its relatively short history, Netflix has engineered a phenomenal track record for storytelling,” said WWE President Nick Khan. “We believe Netflix, as one of the world’s leading entertainment brands, is the ideal long-term home for Raw’s live, loyal, and ever-growing fan base.”
The deal extends to all WWE shows and specials outside the U.S. This includes SmackDown, NXT, and Premium Live Events like WrestleMania.
Netflix’s Chief Content Officer Bela Bajaria reacted to the change in Netflix’s structure.
“We are excited to have WWE RAW, with its huge and passionate multigenerational fan base, on Netflix,” said Bajaria. “By combining our reach, recommendations, and fandom with WWE, we’ll be able to deliver more joy and value for their audiences and our members.”
“RAW is the best of sports entertainment, blending great characters and storytelling with live action 52 weeks a year. We’re thrilled to be in this long-term partnership with WWE.”
The Rock Joins TKO Board of Directors
Then, there is more as The Rock has joined the TKO Board of Directors. As a result, he now has ownership over the name, “The Rock.”
”I’m very motivated to help continue to globally expand our TKO, WWE, and UFC businesses as the worldwide leaders in sports and entertainment — while proudly representing so many phenomenal athletes and performers who show up every day putting in the hard work with their own two hands to make their dreams come true and deliver for our audiences. I’ve been there, I’m still there and this is for them” said Dwayne Johnson.
Also the TKO Board of Directors will now increase from 11 to 13 members. Wrestling, Hollywood, and the XFL are just a few of things The Rock somehow manages.
Of course, The Rock recently appeared on RAW and set the foundation for a match Roman Reigns. If that happens, WrestleMania 40 is the best bet.
