Vince McMahon hasn’t been at a WWE show since WrestleMania 39. However, according to a report, he’s still making changes to events, from afar.
Vince McMahon Continues To Make Changes To WWE Shows, Remotely
As per Fightful Select, many in the promotion are in a “wait and see” mode when it comes to Vince McMahon, as he is still making regular changes to WWE shows, remotely. It’s important to note that Triple H is still in charge of creative.
With that being said, WWE shows have seen changes made by VKM, on a remote basis. It was also noted in the report that when he is in attendance at a WWE event, heavier changes are made with less logic.

Talent in the roster state they’ve heard him “call in” significant changes during a show, working remotely. Performers have also noted that they’ve had more promo flexibility when he is not present at shows.
The report also reveals that morale within the WWE was quite high after the company’s recent European tour. Many stated this was the “most fun” they’ve had on a tour that they’ve been a part of.
The Fightful Select report also states that things have gotten better since he was at the shows. However, some are still “on guard” around the possibility that Vince McMahon will return to being at events, in-person.
Many believe that he works remotely as he’s aware of the chaos that occurs when he is backstage. VKM “retired” from the WWE in June 2022 amidst his “hush-money” scandal.
While he was seemingly “out of the WWE picture, he re-emerged in 2023 to help with the sale of the promotion to Endeavor. He does work behind the scenes but has yet to return to television and storylines.
