According to a report, a former WWE Champion returning soon is a distinct possibility.
In fact, it may be a mortal lock.
There are a few former WWE Champions who would be possibilities, but this report is only concerned about one.
For fans of Bray Wyatt, this would be considered exciting news.
We had been poised to see Bray Wyatt do some sort of battle with Bobby Lashley at WrestleMania 39.
Things got deep enough that we had vignettes aired, with Wyatt tormenting Lashley.
And then…things stopped.
Former WWE Champion Returning Soon?
So, what happened?
There were various reports that Wyatt was dealing with some health issue or injury.
While we have never gotten (and may never get, and really don’t need to) any official explanation of his long absence, this is exciting news if 100% true.
Of course, in fairness, getting Randy Orton back soon would also be pretty awesome, but based on the stories coming out about The Viper?
Not sure he’s ever coming back, and who could blame him he didn’t?
There’s also Alexa Bliss who could easily fit that description.
Little Miss Bliss is not the WWE Champion returning soon in this example. However, prior to Wyatt being pulled off of television, we were seeing plenty of teasers reuniting the pair to some extent.
Would the company revive that as well? Or will this return just focus on Bray Wyatt and Uncle Howdy?
We will have to wait and see, but it does seem like we might see The Fiend’s alter ego back on WWE television shortly.
If so, it will be interesting to see where he lands, as the former WWE Champion was not among the Superstars drafted recently.
It will be interesting to see how WWE eases him back, if they do. Everyone remembers his long slow path toward the reveal at Extreme Rules…so who knows if the company will go back to teasing us.
Or would Wyatt just inexplicably and shockingly return?
