It’s already been an eventful 2024 for The Rock, but now he snaps back at a ridiculous Hawaii Wildfires theory and WrestleMania 40.
WWE fans (and anyone else who tuned in) saw a crazy WWE WrestleMania press conference in Las Vegas just a few days ago.
During the show, the returning Dwayne Johnson was heavily booed.
Fans were booing the WWE icon because he came back and quickly shoved Cody Rhodes out of his hard-earned main event spot.
Granted, they might say Cody stepped aside. That is how it was sort of set up, but a lot has changed since then.
While he rode back into SmackDown a babyface. He is now 1000% a heel, more aligned with the Bloodline than against it.

So during the event on Thursday, fans who have passionately gotten behind the #WeWantCody movement let The Rock hear it.
Except, one special someone didn’t think that was why they were booing.
The Rock Snaps Back At Ridiculous Hawaii Wildfires Theory
During the Hawaii wildfires last year, Johnson and fellow media bigwig Oprah Winfrey took a ton of flak for begging for money for the victims.
Because each of them has a lot. Like…a lot.
And, there had been some allegations of promises not kept, but we aren’t getting into those.
However, Nick Sortor was all about those.
Nick watched clips of the WrestleMania XL presser. He had a completely different take on why The Rock was booed so heartily.
Sortor said the boos were because of Rock’s empty Maui promises, and that fans there were chanting Maui.
Except, the boos weren’t for that, and the chants were…Cody.
Normally, Johnson and his people dodge trolls like that. But this was one where the WWE Superstar took a different approach.
He laid the smack down on him, and for good reason.
There’s creative editing, and then there is finding something there that isn’t there.
