The Rock, Cody Rhodes, And Roman Reigns Turn WWE WrestleMania 40 Presser Into Chaos
The Men’s Royal Rumble was won by Cody Rhodes and he did not have to think about who to challenge. He made his intentions clear about a WrestleMania 39 rematch with Roman Reigns.
Then, The Rock returned and he took the spot. Immediately, fans were outraged as Cody was done dirty.
At the WWE WrestleMania 40 Presser, things got heated fast. Cody interrupted The Rock and Reigns, deciding to take the title shot back.
Things took a drastic change afterwards, which has everyone buzzing. The Rock turned full heel, smacking Cody.
Officials had to restrain Reigns & The Rock from Rhodes & Seth Rollins. The heated conversation continued in the back, where The Rock cursed out Triple H.
After all that, Triple H confirmed Reigns vs Rhodes to headline WrestleMania 40. Still, there are lots of questions that needs answers.
While not confirmed, Rollins’ opponent should be decided at the Elimination Chamber. Although, that still leaves one night of WrestleMania without a main event.
Speculation is running wild about Reigns & The Rock vs Rhodes & Rollins. Such a tag match could take place at either the Elimination Chamber of WrestleMania 40.
We might never know if WWE changed plans because of the negative reaction The Rock received. Many think WWE is trying to have people stop talking about the disgusting Vince McMahon lawsuit.
