As most fans know by now, Seth Rollins suffered an injury during his RAW main event match. He faced Jinder Mahal this past Monday night, and now there is seemingly some speculation on what could come next for the WWE star.

How Severe Is Seth Rollins’ Injury?

PWTorch’s Wade Keller was the first to break the story this past week. He recently offers insight on how bad Rollins’ injury may be.

On one side of things, he’s asked people who would likely be privy to an injury update. Unfortunately, they won’t comment on the situation.

This could mean things are far worse than they seem. After all, if Rollins was okay and there was minimal damage, he believes there would be news about that.

Still, it may be that the WWE needs to run more tests before providing a definitive answer. Seth Rollins is their WWE World Heavyweight Champion, and with WrestleMania 40 on the horizon, a lot is riding on whether or not he’ll be able to participate in this major event.

Could The WWE Use Seth Rollins’ Injury For Storyline Purposes?

At the same time, Keller states that this could also mean that the WWE is planning on linking his legitimate injury into storylines. He points out that his initial report about Seth’s injury went “crazy” after he broke the news on Monday night.

Keller also notes that Seth is a veteran of this sport and is no stranger to injuries. One person backstage questioned the severity of the injury as Seth finished the match and then walked backstage.

If Rollins had a bad injury, he likely would not have done either of these things. He’s been in the business long enough to know his limit.

Wade also points out that his WWE sources may be hush-hush because they are planning on having Seth announce something major on television if it is really bad. Many titleholders in the past have had to relinquish their championships on TV due to injury, so only time will tell.
