Gail Kim was once a WWE Women’s Champion. Still, she recently talked about the likelihood of returning at this year’s 2024 Royal Rumble.
Gail Kim Talks 2024 Royal Rumble Appearance
As one of WWE’s “Big Four” premium live events (PLE), the Royal Rumble is probably best known for its surprise entrants. There’s been such a buzz recently about what the company has planned for this year’s Men’s and Women’s matches.
Former WWE star and current TNA Producer, Gail Kim recently chatted with DS Shin of Ring The Belle. Kim talked about the possibility of appearing in the 2024 Royal Rumble.
She notes that she doesn’t think they (WWE) would ask her and laughs. She also states she’s okay with that.
Still, as TNA and the WWE worked in the past, she also points out that fans saw Mickie (James) and “what a great relationship”. Kim is referring to the fact that Mickie appeared at the 2022 Royal Rumble, wearing her TNA/Impact Knockouts Championship on WWE programming.
Gail also states that our “leader” in Impact, Scott D’Amore, has done “amazing things”, noting that “whatever happens, happens”. Only time will tell if Kim ends up at the 2024 Royal Rumble.
The Trinity Fatu Factor
Gail and the WWE may not have the best relationship or history, but that doesn’t mean there’s no chance she’ll appear at the Rumble. With CM Punk’s return to the company, anything is possible, right?
Speaking of “anything being possible”, current TNA/Impact star Trinity dropped her Knockouts title this past Saturday to Jordynne Grace. As such, there’s been a buzz that fans may see her at the 2024 Royal Rumble.
For those that recall, Trinity, a.k.a. Naomi in the WWE, walked out during Monday Night RAW in May 2022 with Sasha Banks. The two ladies left due to issues with their characters’ creative, so it would be interesting to see Trin make a comeback in the company.
