Randy Orton’s WWE return at Survivor Series was incredible, despite (somewhat) getting lost in the shuffle of CM Punk’s major comeback to the company. Still, what are the superstar’s plans moving forward and how do officials view his return?
Randy Orton’s WWE Return Plans
The Viper helped score a major win for his team at Survivor Series. He swooped in to help Jey Uso, Sami Zayn, Seth Rollins, and Cody Rhodes score the victory during their WarGames match against Judgment Day.
According to Fightful Select, the future WWE Hall of Famer will be poised for a feud with the Bloodline stable now that he’s officially made SmackDown his home. He rejected RAW to sign with the Blue brand after their General Manager, Nick Aldis, offered the Legend Killer a match against the stable.
Another hint that he and Roman Reigns will likely cross paths is producer Michael Hayes. He not only produces most of the Bloodline segments, but he oversaw Randy’s RAW and SmackDown segments last week.
In addition, the report notes that Orton’s RAW appearance was to ensure he tied up any “loose” ends between him, Judgment Day, and Jey Uso. This was to give him a “clean slate” heading into SmackDown.

Backstage Reaction For Orton’s Return
As per the report, it is said that the WWE is “over the moon” on Orton’s return at Survivor Series. Plus, they are pleased by both his RAW and SmackDown segment, and especially his conditioning.
Randy was out due to a back injury for about a year and a half. There was also word that this injury could have retired him.
However, Orton was relentless with his recovery, and he’s finally back in that squared circle. It’ll be interesting to see what he accomplishes during this next run.
