Kevin Owens and Dominik Mysterio are going to work together in 2024 as WWE is building a big program for the two superstars.
Kevin Owens And Dominik Mysterio Set For 2024 Program
WWE is still working on storylines for 2023, but they are looking at the future. In particular, the company is toying with the idea of Kevin Owens and Dominik Mysterio working a program.
BWE, who have a decent record of breaking backstage stories, mentioned how Kevin Owens and Dominik Mysterio are two wrestlers WWE will focus on in 2024. The account noted how WWE had “big plans” for both superstars.
Owens spent what felt like two years tying to destroy The Bloodline. While somewhat successful, Owens has since moved on after he and Sami Zayn captured the tag team titles back at night one of WrestleMania 39.
Since then, Owens and Zayn did drop the gold to Finn Balor and Damian Priest at Payback. Owens is known to turn on Sami in the past, but it does not seem like that it is in the works; at least for now.
Dominik always looked like a future star. Once he turned on his father, Rey Mysterio, and joined The Judgement Day, things have only improved.
Now using the nickname “Dirty Dom” and hanging out with Rhea Ripley seems to be helping. The man simply holds a mic and crowd covers him in a chorus of boos.
For Owens, he is a proven main event wrestler who was Universal Champion once. It was not the best title reign and I imagine he would like to improve that moment.
Dom currently works the main roster and NXT since he won the North American Championship. He might not hold that title for too long since it does belong to NXT, but it does the job for now.
So, will Kevin Owens and Dominik Mysterio be one of the top feuds for 2024?
