While Jade Cargill returned to AEW during Collision this past Saturday, this may have been a tremendously short run. According to a report, the star is leaving All Elite Wrestling, expected to sign with the WWE, shortly.

Jade Says “Goodbye” To AEW & “Hello” To The WWE

Fightful Select is reporting that Cargill’s final match with AEW has been taped. She faced Kris Statlander on Wednesday night for the TBS Championship.

The match is set to broadcast on AEW’s Rampage this Friday. According to the report, the company announcing this match for Rampage was surprising as Statlander was Cargill’s only loss, throughout her career.

However, it’s not that shocking as Stratlander will end up beating her in this bout, in preparation for her exit. Fightful didn’t confirm when the AEW star’s deal expires or if an official offer from the WWE has been made.

The report also acknowledges that things can change at any time. However, the report does note that the rumor within both company rosters is that the star is leaving AEW and heading to WWE.

During her time with AEW, including this Rampage match, the superstar has wrestled 64 matches over the past two-and-a-half years of her wrestling career. If this report proves to be correct, the star will be the second major talent from the company to leave All Elite Wrestling and head to the WWE (the first one being Cody Rhodes at WrestleMania 38).

She began training in 2019 and debuted in AEW during the November 11th edition of Dynamite in 2020. She was the inaugural TBS Champion, with the longest reign of any title for the company at 508 days.

She also happened to have a 60-match winning streak, of course, until she lost both the title and her streak to Statlander in less than 50 seconds, during Double or Nothing this past May. It’ll be interesting to see what happens next for this amazing talent.
