With WWE legend Matt Hardy reportedly being available in pro wrestling free agency, it looks like the veteran performer could be publicly angling to be added to the storyline for Bo Dallas’ impending return.
Over the last month, there have been various reports about ongoing negotiations between Matt Hardy and AEW. With Hardy being very complimentary of All Elite Wrestling boss Tony Khan during his time with the company it seemed like a return was likely.

However, it was revealed last week that the two sides could not come to terms on a new deal and the 49-year-old would be available to take his talents elsewhere. A return to WWE definitely seems possible after Hardy was in attendance at an episode of WWE Raw on the Road to WrestleMania 40.
Well, it now seems like the long-time member of the iconic Hardy Boyz tag team could be angling for a WWE return in a specific storyline.
Does Matt Hardy want to be in the new faction led by Bo Dallas?
Over the last few weeks, speculation has grown about Bo Dallas making his return to the WWE roster to pick up where he and his brother Bray Wyatt left off last year before his shocking death. The Peacock documentary about Wyatt hinted at the possibility during the credits and recent episodes of WWE TV have started to show random QR codes similar to the build to Wyatt’s return in 2022.
Matt Hardy and Wyatt have a history after feuding when the “Broken Matt” persona was brought to WWE in 2019 and the two would go on to team together and eventually become tag champions as the “Deleters of Worlds.”
On his X account this week, Hardy has posted a pair of highlight videos from his past teaming with Bray Wyatt, and he also surprisingly reposted the moment from this week’s Raw when a QR code flashed on the screen during The New Day’s ring entrance.
Could Hardy be publicly pushing for inclusion in a long-rumored Wyatt 6 faction that would feature Dallas and possibly Alexa Bliss? Is he giving hints that he is already a part of the storyline and has re-signed with WWE? We will have to watch WWE TV in the coming weeks to find out.
