It could just be part of the job, or it could be him flexing again, but The Rock may be influencing WWE Hall of Fame selections this year.
At first glance, you might say…well of course he would have a say in them, he’s on the TKO board now.
And you would be right. He is the newest member, and certainly it’s highest profile one.
We’ve already seen reports of The Rock exerting his newly earned authority to push into the WrestleMania card (allegedly).
And I add allegedly because we all know, per prior comments, that both Rock and WWE brass (read: former boss Vince McMahon) have been trying to bring back the Great One for a big match for a couple years.
Fans had thought Rock-Reigns was destined for Hollywood in 2023, but here we are.
Outside of matches, Dwayne Johnson has apparently been putting his spin on other areas of the business.
The Rock May Be Influencing WWE Hall Of Fame Selections
According to Fightful, he has been actively involved in shaping our 2024 Hall of Fame class.
So far, the 2024 inductees (as of the afternoon of March 8th) are Paul Heyman, Bull Nakano and the U.S. Express.
It’s a nice class, but nothing yet screams “Rock did that”.
Per the report, without revealing names, his influence would be clear if and when certain announcements were made.
Cryptic and vague? Absolutely.
I am curious to see who this could mean is coming as another honoree. Heyman is big enough to headline the inductees, but in general we do have a former Superstar as the main member of the class.
With less than a month until WrestleMania 40 and the Hall of Fame ceremony, we should find out more names soon enough.

And as we find out new names, it should maybe become clear if The Rock had any obvious influence on the latest members of the WWE Hall of Fame.
