Mercedes Mone (Sasha Banks) Sees WWE Return Ahead Of Rumored AEW Debut

Once Mercedes Mone (Sasha Banks) and Naomi walked out of WWE, people wanted to know where they would land.

Naomi would join TNA before returning at January’s Royal Rumble. Mone joined NJPW, but an injury reduced her time there significantly.

She was spotted in attendance at All In during late summer. Although, at the same time, some speculated a WWE return was still possible.

Well, a few weeks ago Tony Khan announced a specially themed episode of Dynamite this Tuesday, called Big Business. All signs point to Mone finally debuting.

Yet, while speaking on the Kick Rocks podcast, Mone (Sasha Banks) sees a WWE return still happening.

“I know I’m gonna be back there one day,” said Mone. “Okay?”

“So, it’s not over. Like I said, I have a lot of unfinished business in wrestling, in a lot of places.”

There is no word on what type of deal Mone has signed with AEW. Previously, AEW wanted contracts to last three years and now five years.

That could mean a WWE return is far away. But, anything could happen.

Remember, Punk went from AEW employee to WWE superstar in about three months. It will comedown to the details of her AEW contract.

Many thought Mone would return and help Bayley. The real-life friends have history going back to their time in NXT.

It seems Bayley will have to battle Damage CTRL alone. Although, she might have found a friend in Jade Cargill.
