One featured match for this weekend’s AEW PPV did not happen, and it lead to AEW star Miro revealing an injury-which he claims Tony Khan was unaware of.

Heading into Revolution, one match getting hyped was one dubbed “Meat Madness”.

Among the participants on tap? Wardlow, Powerhouse Hobbs and Lance Archer.

Also due to take part were Keith Lee and Miro.

Turns out that both Lee and Miro are injured and not cleared to wrestle.

That news led to Khan pivoting.

Those previously booked who are cleared were then set to take part in an all star scramble match.

The Miro reveal was a big one…probably.

Specifically, it was this post on Twitter/X that made some people buzz.

Honestly, reading that made me ask a lot of questions.

First, I do wonder what is plaguing the AEW talent.

Second, if you’ve been injured since September, why wait several months before seeking medical attention?

I can think of a few reasons (trying to let rest do it’s thing, for example), but I am genuinely curious.

Third…was Tony Khan really unaware?

I can see that being true. Let’s be completely honest here…it isn’t as though Miro is a main event star for AEW.

Meaning, with all of the talent on the AEW roster, I somehow doubt Khan keeps up-to-the-minute tabs on each and every individual’s health and availability.

However…as the man booking matches…it seems rather questionable that he would do what he just did.

Meaning, he concocted a match. Booked talent in the match.

Announced said match. And then was made aware that two of the five names were not actually able to be IN the match.

This is the part I have the biggest issue with. You would think, as a booker, you would do the due diligence on such things before announcing the match.

It’s another item that AEW detractors will grab on to, showing Tony Khan’s inexperience.

Even a few years in, he still makes mistakes and could surely use help.
