WWE is prepping for the celebration of celebrations, brother! During this month, the company plans to honor one of the greatest superstars and pop culture phenomenon to ever walk down that aisle, Hulk Hogan and Hulkmania.

When it comes crashing down, and it hurts inside! The WWE is about to launch a major celebration of Hulk Hogan, his career, and his fan base.

WWE’s Golden Era officially kicked off on January 23, 1984, when the Hulkster defeated the Iron Shiek at Madison Square Garden. Hogan won his first WWE title that night, and Hulkamania was born.

January 2024 marks 40 years since that big moment, which catapulted the Hulkster’s popularity not only in wrestling but mainstream media, too. According to the X/Twitter handle, WrestleVotes, the WWE is planning to celebrate the milestone, see the above tweet.

WWE Launching New Hulk Hogan & Hulkamania Merch

It looks like an appearance by Hulk Hogan on WWE television is not out of the question. However, it also seems like nothing has been set in stone.

Although the idea of new Hulkamania merch and collectibles is an exciting thing for many fans who have followed the Hulkster’s career over the years. It’ll be interesting to see what the company comes up with.

On an even more interesting note, Roman Reigns is mere months from hitting the Hulkster’s four-year history-making run with his first WWE title. Still, if the Tribal Chief wants to surpass this, he’ll have to remain the Undisputed WWE Universal Champion until September 2024.

Hulk Hogan had an incredible career with the WWE. He held the WWE title six times, was a tag titleholder (with Edge), won the Royal Rumble back-to-back in 1990 and 1991, and is a two-time WWE Hall of Famer (2005 and 2020).
