It’s going to be a near-historic year for wrestling free agents, and could one Superstar be set for a WWE return soon?

In 2024, we know that MJF might be a free agent. Or perhaps not.

We’ve heard of several big names within WWE who have expiring contracts and might become free agents.

Everyone knows about one major talent that seemed poised to return to WWE, but now maybe is not.

But there was another who got away at the same time, and who is often overlooked, but should not be.

After all, she is currently the IMPACT Knockouts Champion.

Trinity, better known to the WWE Universe as Naomi, has reportedly nearly finished her time with TNA/IMPACT.

Superstar Set For WWE Return Soon?

Per a report from Fightful, sources within both WWE and TNA are of the belief that her time with TNA is basically done, and that once she is able to, she will rejoin WWE.

Depending on terms and logistics, you can’t help but at least wonder if she could be a surprise entrant in the 2024 Royal Rumble.

After all, she was becoming known for some creative elimination avoiding moves.

But, she and the artist formerly known as Sasha Banks ended their WWE Women’s Tag Team title run by walking out on RAW.

The pair were suspended and eventually no longer with WWE.

Losing either was a shock, but at the time of her exit, I’d say that seeing Naomi depart was a bigger shock, given her husband’s role in the dominant story line of that time.

Jimmy Uso, her husband, is and was a key figure in the Bloodline.

Then again, all of that happened between Naomi and Vince McMahon.

Vince isn’t in charge anymore…it’s Triple H and Nick Khan.

Thus far, the duo don’t seem willing or able to bring back her tag partner. But it does seem like WWE is about to feel the glow one more time.
