WWE RAW’s Day One event proved to be a pretty solid way for the Red brand to kick off 2024. Still, one scary moment was Giovanni Vinci’s match being stopped. How is the superstar? WNZ has an update.

Giovanni Vinci Update After WWE RAW

Giovanni Vinci, along with the Ludwig Kaiser faced Kofi Kingston and Jey Uso during RAW’s Day One event. Vinci climbed to the top rope and launched off, while Kofi hit him in the face with a dropkick.

While Vinci fell to the floor, Kingston tagged Uso, and just as Jey was about to run in, the ref ended the match. While Kofi and Jey were declared the winners, Vinci was checked out by medical personnel.

He was eventually helped by personnel, and he was walking on his own accord backstage. Vinci hopped on X/Twitter after RAW, posting the below.

As you can see, it’s in Italian. However, the translation is, that he is “fine”.

Kofi Kingston Also Reacts

Vinci wasn’t the only person who hopped on X/Twitter. Kofi did as well, and the tweet is below.

Two weeks ago, Kingston was handing out gifts to the crowd on RAW. He was dressed as Santa Claus, and Imperium attacked.

This was because of comments Kofi made earlier during the show. Jey Uso came for the save, and a match was organized for Day One.

Kofi is riding solo right now as both of his other New Day members are out on injury. Big E has been out with a neck injury since March 2022.

Meanwhile, Xavier Woods has been out of action since late November 2023. It’s unclear the reason for his injury, but reports have indicated that he’s a bit “banged up” and needs time off to heal.

No exact timeline for Woods to return, but he was taken off WWE television in December. He was also taken off the holiday tour live event advertisements.
