Admittedly, this one was not on my bingo card for this year, but could we see a Dudley reunion in 2024?

Like, could Bubba Ray and D-Von Dudley, collectively known as the Dudley Boyz, reunite for one final tag run?

It is an intriguing question, and it was not posed by some random person on the internet.

Instead, one half of one of the greatest tag teams of all time tossed that question out himself.

And, as a fan who got to see them start in ECW…who remembers when Bubba stuttered…I am all for it.

Of course, if such a thing happens…if it is even remotely possible…the next big question would be…where, or for what promotion, and under what conditions?

Could We See A Dudley Reunion In 2024?

There is a lot to unpack here.

The Dudleys went into the WWE Hall of Fame already. Both men are largely retired, though Bubba (or Bully) does occasionally work a match.

D-Von has had some health issues in recent years as well, so even if he wants to…could he get cleared?

They did team up for a one-off appearance for the Impact 1000 special, but beyond that, not much.

While the two men may have had some sort of a falling out, it surely seems like no matter what went down, their bonds from the road will keep them coming back.

So…where and when?

Some have tossed out the idea of an AEW run. It would possibly let them claim those tag titles, making them the first to hold basically every major promotion’s tag titles.

Of course, Matt and Jeff Hardy would probably have something to say about it (though they are not as decorated as the Dudleys).

Edge and Christian are there too, though right now they aren’t the best of friends. But, right there AEW could re-create two of their biggest rivalries.

Or, work with a whole bunch of new options.

Though…with WrestleMania in Philadelphia this year…and ECW being a Philly thing…could Bubba maybe want one last brief run with WWE, culminating in a match at the Linc?

I mean, it seems plausible, and I expect at least some amount of ECW involvement in that weekend’s festivities.
