Ash By Elegance (known to many as Dana Brooke) is opening up about her WWE release, believing the promotion never had faith in her.

The past few years have seen WWE’s roster completely change. They released a ton of talent from RAW, SmackDown, NXT and the Performance Center.
A few names returned once Triple H gained more power. Some went to other promotions or simply retired.
About three months ago, WWE again released a bunch of wrestlers such as Dolph Ziggler and Dana Brooke.
Ziggler, now going as Nic Nemeth, and Brooke, now going as Ash by Elegance, appeared at Hard To Kill. Neither appearance was confirmed ahead of time.
While speaking with David LaGreca and Bully Ray on Busted Open Radio, Ash by Elegance felt WWE lacked faith in her.
“I honestly think they (WWE) didn’t believe in me,” said Ash by Elegance. “You know, producers, TJ Wilson was a very big advocate for me and he would always be like, ‘Dana can do it, Dana can do it, Dana can do it’ and it just — it wasn’t happening and I wasn’t that girl.”

“I wasn’t the girl that they were trying to push to that next level. I was the one that I was always given to take the pin fall and I was okay with it, thinking in my mind, there’s gonna be a shot.
“There’s gonna be that next time. And, there just never was that next time.”
She mentions pitching the idea of hanging from the Money in the Bank briefcase and then dropping on top of her female opponents. WWE thought the idea was too dangerous and nixed the spot.
Outside 24/7 Championship reigns, WWE never booked her in the title picture. She had a great work ethic, hence the lack of push is puzzling.
So, will Ash By Elegance (Dana Brooke) have a better run in TNA or was WWE right?
