With WWE brining out the big names as WrestleMania season is about to begin, The Rock making a return could be imminent.
The Rock Teases Imminent WWE Return
When it comes to leaving WWE, nobody has found more success than The Rock. He left WWE at the peak of his career, only to transition into one of Hollywood’s biggest stars.
Despite a packed schedule, he does make very rare WWE appearances and is known for taking-part in the Make-A-Wish Foundation. He recently met with a young man named, Jayden.
There was photos taken and uploaded to Instagram. The Rock shared a special message with Jayden, hinting at an imminent WWE return.
Below, is part of what The Rock uploaded.
“He is HUUUUUGE ROCK & pro wrestling fan and we had a BLAST chopping up his favorite wrestlers and matches!!
I LOVE pro wrestling so my time with Jayden was super dope! 💪🏾
I told him a little secret 🤫 that may or may not involve some dude returning to WWE to lay the SmackDown on all their candy -sses 😉👋🏾
In September, The Rock made and unannounced appearance on SmackDown. During that time, Hollywood was on strike, and it freed up time for Dwayne Johnson.
It never produced any matches, but WWE saw big numbers with his appearance. He did hit the people’s elbow on Grayson Waller and that could easily produce a match.
While a match does not seem likely because of other obligations and the risk in pro wrestling, a return inside the ring for a segment works.
The Rock last wrestled at WrestleMania 29, losing to John Cena. WWE tried Roman Reigns vs The Rock for WrestleMania 39, but it fell through.
