John Cena is headed back to Hollywood after his latest WWE run, but he apparently needed to make a stop for surgery and also indicated more on the horizon.
John Cena Undergoes Surgery After Latest WWE Run
While the Hollywood strike caused problems for many, WWE actually benefited. With actors and actresses taking the picket line, it allowed some popular names to return to WWE TV.
In particular, fans got to see John Cena and The Rock. We did not get too much from The Rock, but it was enough to keep everyone happy.
As for Cena, he appeared with WWE on a more regular basis. He even wrestled a few matches.
Following Crown Jewel, the belief was Cena would return to Hollywood as the strike is officially over. Although, he apparently made another stop.
On social media, Cena noted how he underwent surgery. It seemed like Cena might have had his elbow scoped, yet he did not give more details.
Also, it seems like Cena saw Orthopedic Surgeon Jeff Dugas. He is known name in the sports world and works from the Andrew’s Sport Medicine and Orthopedic Center in Birmingham, Alabama.
Cena sent the following message to the doctor and his medical team.
“Thank you @JeffDugasMD and your entire team in Birmingham! One arm fixed, clean & headed for therapy … one arm left to go! Thank you again and see you ASAP for the next one!!”
Cena’s most recent WWE run lasted from August until early November. He scored a win with LA Knight at Fastlane, but lost in one-sided contest to Solo Sikoa at Crown Jewel.
There is no word if Cena will work WrestleMania 40 from Philly. Lately, he has not worked the huge show but WWE could easily toss him into any match like they did last year.
