A recently released NXT wrestler has problems with Roxanne Perez and Cora Jade, who are both huge prospects for WWE.
Released NXT Talent Has Issues With Roxanne Perez & Cora Jade
Not everyone can make it in the WWE, even the best athletes around. WWE recruited Alexis Lete, former college volleyball player and Miss Indiana winner, a little over a year ago.
She trained at the WWE Performance Center before being let go in September. Her departure is now gaining some attention.
Following Lete’s departure, Roxanne Perez and Cora Jade shared a video. In that video, the two NXT wrestlers criticized Lete’s performance inside the ring.
Hence, Lete is responding in a video she uploaded online. She was not trilled with how Perez and Jade reacted to her exit.
Lete did see the need for Perez and Jade to comment about her in-ring skills. Also, Lete wanted to let fans know of her release, but Perez broke the story first.
“I feel like WWE is a place of misfits,” said Alexis Lete. “We’re all a little weird and janky, so I fit in kind of perfect there.”
“With that being said, I didn’t always feel like I was meant to be in WWE, or, at least a wrestler. I didn’t always think I was supposed to be a wrestler.”
“It was early on, I didn’t pick it up really fast, I was kind of hesitant, I saw a lot of injuries, and by seeing a lot of injuries, I didn’t know if it was for me or not.”
“I’m not going to lie, I’m a wimp. People in WWE are some bad-ss people. They’re putting their life on the line, breaking their bones, finishing matches, getting staples in their head and they keep going.”
“That’s so hardcore. I wish I was, but I’m not. I’m a fragile little bean.”
Current Status Of Roxanne Perez And Cora Jade
Perez and Jade have not publicly responded to Lete.
Before joining WWE, Perez and Jade were already friends. They brought their friendship to the screen before Jade turned heel.
Perez is a former NXT Women’s Champion, who was stripped of the belt. Some think she is due for a main roster call.
Jade recently returned to TV after being away for months. Almost immediately, she set her sights on NXT gold.
So, was Roxanne Perez and Cora Jade out of line or is Alexis Lete just fishing?
