With the world we live in today, could WWE add a transgender Superstar?

And, if they do…could it be someone that was already at one point a WWE Superstar?

So, with that qualifier, you can already know that we aren’t discussing Nyla Rose.

After all, Rose remains under contract with All Elite Wrestling. But, she’s made plenty of history, so it would not have been a bad guess.

There are other transgender wrestlers in the world of sports entertainment, including one in TNA and numerous lesser-known names in the independent promotions.

But none of them wrestled in WWE before, under the name Tyler Reks.

The former Reks came out as transgender a couple years back, and she has had her fair share of challenges since.

Notably, the woman we can now call Gabbi Tuft had open heart surgery.

So, there’s no way Tuft could make a comeback from that, right?

Could WWE Add A Transgender Superstar In Gabbi Tuft?

Maybe not.

After coming out as transgender, the former Reks seemed to leave the ring behind.

But now, she appears to have been bitten by the wrestling bug once again.

According to her own words, she has re-discovered her itch to wrestle, thanks in part to former WWE Superstar Dustin Rhodes.

So serious is she about a comeback that she notes she has reached out to her doctors to see if she’d actually be cleared to get back in the ring.

Which, after open heart surgery, is no sure thing.

But, if she is cleared? She knows who she would want.

Rhea Ripley.

The obvious comment to that? If you are going to come back, no harm in going for the biggest Superstar there.

And for Tuft, that would be making a bee line for Ripley, currently the WWE Women’s World Champion working on RAW.

Then again…even if she would get medical clearance…will WWE embrace the opportunity to bring in a transgender Superstar?
