If you were hoping to hear about one of the crazier AEW instances, don’t hold your breath…CM Punk can never talk about the All Out brawl.

For what it’s worth, basically no wrestler involved in the backstage brouhaha in 2022 is able to.

That tidbit of knowledge was revealed on Wrestling with Rip Rogers.

Per the interview, everyone involved in the brawl has signed non-disclosure agreements, which explains why we’ve heard so little.

Also, the signed NDAs explain why Tony Khan has said next to nothing since CM Punk signed with and arrived in WWE.

As much as fans might want to hear more about the events that transpired, they can’t.

Well…they can’t hear it from CM Punk. Or any of the AEW talents who were involved and still remain.

CM Punk Can Never Talk About All Out Brawl

For all we saw, heard and read, it’s crazy to think that, 18 months past one of the bigger controversies…just about everyone will be under NDA for forever.

But..not everyone.

The lawyer who represents both Punk and Ace Steel, Stephen New, confirmed on the show that neither man can ever talk about the All Out Brawl.

At some point in the aftermath, both performers (and New) signed lifetime non-disclosure agreements.

In an interesting and perhaps very curious move…one person did not.

Ace Steel’s wife, Lucy, for reasons not currently clear to me, was not subject to signing a lifetime promise of silence.

She was in the back, she certainly saw some things. And of course, being married to Steel and around Punk, she can probably share a lot of their side of the story.

If and when she wants to, she apparently has nothing legally forbidding her from doing so.

Punk and Steel do.

Honestly, this might not be the worst thing. Punk has made a few veiled references to his former place of employment.

But, he has enough to work with from his own WWE past.

No need to reference anything he may or may not have done in his brief time with AEW.

Having to behave means CM Punk turns his attention to his present and future in WWE. And that is probably a good thing.
