Given what we’ve seen in recent months, this big move for Adam Pearce should not come as a surprise.

Not all that long ago, Adam Pearce was the sole authority figure covering both RAW and SmackDown.

And then, after giving him a trial as a producer, WWE brought Nick Aldis in to fully support the blue brand.

In doing so, WWE also promoted Pearce to being solely responsible for RAW.

While that was a move for the benefit of the television audience.

But there was a big boost for him in the backstage area too.

So, let’s talk about that..

Getting to focus on one show was a big move, but some might not feel like it is.

Like, running two shows is better than one, right?

Except, you know, he gets to solely focus on his one and only brand, instead of being spread thin across two.

But we are hearing that Adam Pearce got a big move behind the scenes at RAW too.

With Pearce largely on RAW (though he still makes cameos ever so rarely on SmackDown), he was also given a bit of a promotion.

According to Fightful, along with primary authority figure duties, Pearce will focus his producer energy on the Superstars of RAW.

Not every spot needs to be filled, but given his roles, this move just made too much sense to not move him.

While Survivor Series has come and gone, we could see a looming match pitting Pearce against Aldis at any time.

Based on how night one went, I do think we are well on our way toward some match, whether one on one or getting more lined up like a traditional Survivor Series match.

Downside with that is, we have a bit of a wait until we kind of know about thing, and the waiting is always the worst.

Regardless, a big congrats to those who got us yet another possible solution.
