AEW Star Jack Perry Files Trademarks
Perry recently filed the “Jurassic Express” and “A Boy And His Dinosaur” trademarks. He did this through the United States Patent and Trademark Office on Monday, December 11th.
He filed these under the “entertainment and clothing” purposes. The description has been placed under the intended categories of shirts, hats, bandanas, short-sleeved shirts, sweatshirts, and hooded sweatshirts.
Jack Perry’s History With AEW
Wrestling under the name of Jungle Boy, Perry first debuted in All Elite Wrestling in January 2019. During his tenure with the company, he’s had a tag title reign with Luchasaurus, held the FTW Championship, and won the 2021 Men’s Casino Battle Royale.
He’s been on hiatus with the company since August of this year. He competed at All In during the Zero Hour, where he lost his FTW title to Hook.
During the bout, Perry hit the windshield of a car, noting it was “real glass” and to “go cry” him a river, right into the camera. Allegedly, this was in response to CM Punk for not allowing him to use real glass during an AEW Collision segment.
Punk had creative control over the show at that point in time, when he was still All Elite. Of course, he’s currently riding a high comeback wave in the WWE, after a close to 10-year hiatus with the company.
Still, after Perry’s Zero Hour match, but before Punk’s bout, the two AEW stars got into an intense altercation backstage. It resulted in Punk’s contract termination and Jack’s suspension.
Perry hasn’t been seen on AEW television since. There is no confirmation on when he’ll return.
What exactly are Jungle Boy’s intentions with these trademarks? Only time will tell.
