Could Ronda Rousey Be Tony Khan’s AEW Surprise At Full Gear?

Tony Khan is known to make announcements and he will do the same at Full Gear. In fact, he is promoting a new addition to the company and he is calling this person “one of the world’s best wrestlers.”

Naturally, people have been tossing around names. Mercedes Moné, CM Punk and Will Ospreay have been mentioned.

For now, we know it will not be Moné. Although, she is still rumored to join he promotion when she is medically cleared; which, is not far away.

Punk seems like a stretch, especially considering he was fired by Khan after All In. Some think he could appear at WWE’s Survivor Series later in the month.

Ospreay is certainly a possibility. We know he is looking to sign somewhere with WWE, AEW and Impact Wrestling all showing interest.

Now, speculation is Ronda Rousey could be headed to Khan’s company. The rumor, which is all it is as of now, began last night.

At a Wrestling Revolver Unreal event, Ronda Rousey and Marina Shafir wrestled AEW’s Athena and Billie Starkz. It went to a no-contest when Athena attacked Rousey with her ROH Women’s Championship.

Rousey left WWE following SummerSlam and this marks her second appearance on the Indy scene. Seeing how those mostly involved in Rousey’s recent match work for AEW and the ending, it does make sense about her making the jump.

There are also people who think Rousey will fight at UFC 300 this summer. Dana White has denied those claims several times.
