Kairi Sane was expected back on WWE TV and she did so at Crown Jewel. Now that she is back, it seems like her first program has been revealed.
Kairi Sane Likely Direction Following WWE Return
Iyo Sky walked out of Crown Jewel still the WWE Women’s Champion after defeating Bianca Belair. Although, there was some outside interference from Bayley and Kairi Sane.
Bayley being there was not a surprise as she, along with Sky and Dakota Kai, are members of Damage Control. Sane being present was a surprise, but not a total shock as her return was expected for several weeks.
Basically, Sane hit a spinning back-fist on Belair and then Sky followed with a moonsault for the victory. As the two celebrated in the ring, Bayley noticed what happened and looked baffled.
Was This The Right Call With Logan Paul?
During Wrestling Obsever Radio, Bryan Alvarez went over what is next for Kairi Sane.
“They note that years and years ago, the person who injured Kairi and sent her out of WWE was, in fact, Bayley,” said Alvarez. “So, they’re bringing up a story from years ago to get to where they’re going.”
For those who do not remember, in July 2020, WWE had Bayley attack Sane backstage. The angle was done because Sane was leaving WWE and returning to Japan to be with her future husband.
Both sides left on good terms, with hope “The Pirate Princess” would return. And in fact, she did a few years later.
There is no word on what type of deal she signed.
We could know see Bayley and Kai working opposite Sky and Sane. First, Kai needs to be medically cleared after her ACL tear.
Honestly, I would not be too surprised if Asuka somehow gets inserted into the likely feud. She has history with almost everyone mentioned above, especially Sane.
So, did Kairi Sane make the right call be re-signing with WWE and where is her current feud headed?
