AEW World Champion MJF got legitimately injured during his Full Gear main event match against Jay White. The status of his injury has been revealed.

As most fans know, during his tag team match at Full Gear, there was an injury angle. MJF’s leg was attacked by the Gunns after their bout during the Zero Hour pre-show before the big main event.

Still, despite his “leg injury” angle for the pre-show match, reports indicate that MJF has an entirely different issue that he’s dealing with. Looks like he left the Jay White bout “banged up” with a shoulder injury.
Fightful’s Sean Ross Sapp hopped on X/Twitter recently to provide an update. He suffered a shoulder injury at Full Gear off the top rope, Uranage spot.
In addition, the talent tweeted something, which has since been deleted. In the post, he notes that he “just” got an MRI and he tore his labrum in his left shoulder.
He goes on to say that he’ll be defending his title at the Worlds End event and that he believes in AEW. But, will he be in any shape to do so?

Will MJF Compete At The AEW Worlds End Event?
As it stands, MJF is scheduled to face Samoa Joe at AEW’s Worlds End on Saturday, December 30th. The event takes place in his hometown of Long Island.
Sean Ross Sapp followed up on his first X/Twitter post, stating that MJF is still expected to perform at the event. He also states the AEW World Champion is hoping to avoid surgery and is undergoing treatment.
Will MJF end up wrestling at Worlds End? Only time will tell, but WNZ will continue to monitor the situation and keep fans updated.
