Adam Copeland and Ricky Starks cut promos on each recently and they seemed to have gone slightly gone off script. Now, people want to know if they have heat.
Adam Copeland And Ricky Starks Have Heat In AEW For Testy Exchange?
Adam Copeland (best to known to fans as Edge) completed his WWE contract and had a major decision. He could re-sign with WWE, see what AEW was offering and even test the free-agent market.
It felt like the only real options were WWE or AEW. And, in the end, he decided to jump ship to AEW at the beginning of the month.
He instantly got into an angle with Christian Cage. A feud between those two seems like a lock.
At the same time, Adam Copeland and Ricky Starks have traded words. In fact, last week’s Collision saw Copeland call Starks a “vanilla midget” version of The Rock.
Major AEW Star Could Be Injured
The comment was not part of the plan, leaving people to wonder if the two actually did not like reach other. According to Fightful Select, there is no heat on Adam Copeland or Starks.
They continued how Copeland repoprtly has a major say in his promos, which is something he gained after rejoining WWE’s active roster several years back.
As for Starks, he did not mind the remark. Hence, their feud will continue to evolve on TV.
Since becoming part of AEW, it is said Copeland is adjusting well. There have not been any reported problems with him since debuting at WrestleDream.
The same cannot be said for CM Punk, who had plenty of issues with AEW before his release.
Remember, Copeland was approached in the early days on AEW. An offer was made, but he went to WWE who decided to match the deal and allow him to wrestle again.
