Darby Allin has no problems with AEW. He continued how he loves the way Tony Khan handles business and he would rather die than join another company.
Darby Allin Loves Tony Khan And Would Die For AEW
Before AEW, I do not think many people knew Darby Allin. Maybe some read about him or saw a clip on YouTube, but he was not getting the exposure he is now.
Darby was one of the first names to sign with AEW. When looking at him, he does not give off the pro wrestler vibe.
With all the tats and strange face paint, he looked perfect for a rock band. It took time, but fans started to see Darby as one of the four pillars of AEW.
In a recent interview with The Jon Chuckery Show, Darby Allin spoke about Tony Khan and AEW. Basically, he will never leave Khan or AEW.
“I can’t say enough good things about working with Tony Khan,” said Darby. “What you see out there is 100% Darby Allin.”
“Nobody tells me how to walk, talk, or act. It’s 100% me. To have that free reign to collaborate with Tony and create such good storylines, you can’t say enough good things.”
“I’m super stoked about everything and my whole growth with AEW. I tell Tony that I’m maybe the worst businessman in pro wrestling because there is never going to be a bidding war for Darby Allin.”
“I love AEW so much, I’m not playing games. I’m not going to be like, ‘what if I went somewhere else?’ No, I’m just being real, Darby Allin is going to live and die in AEW.”
Since Darby was paired with Sting, he helped the younger wrestler get featured more often. Also, it led to some title reigns.
Perhaps, Darby’s biggest issue are the risky moves he performs. At this rate, I cannot see his body lasting much longer.
So, is Darby Allin making a foolish decision by not even feeling other offers?
