Becky Lynch recently conducted an interview talking about her renewed focus on NXT and how the Monday Night RAW women’s division needs elevating.
Becky Lynch’s Goal Is To Add Credibility To The RAW Women’s Division
Becks is undeniably one of the best female wrestlers in the modern era, if not one of the best WWE superstars of all time. From main eventing WrestleMania to becoming a Grand Slam Champion, she’s seen it all and done it all in the company.
She recently had an interview with the New York Post. In the article, Becks details the need to focus on the future generation of female talent to help build the division for tomorrow.
During her chat with NYP, she notes that her goal is to elevate the RAW women’s roster, which she states is a little “light” on credibility. The Man says that if she can give these female superstars, “who are great”, a match and showcase their talents, it benefits “everyone”, including the fans.
She goes on to say that she needs people on this level, but if no one is getting television or storytelling time, then these female stars can’t rise up. This is because no one knows who they are.
The current NXT Women’s Champion goes on to say that she’s “very grateful” for her time, but she wants more. She states that this is why she’s doing all these things, from going to NXT to being on all the shows, as well as dark matches on SmackDown, including all the travel that goes with her job, being a mom, and now writing a book.
Becks states it’s because she “loves” all this, that she’s trying to elevate both the NXT Women’s title and all the women. The superstar is set to participate in NXT’s No Mercy premium live event this Saturday, September 30th.
She’ll face Tiffany Stratton and place the title on the line in an Extreme Rules match. Should be an incredible match.
