Off the cusp of Dominik Mysterio’s NXT North American Championship win on WWE NXT this week, a new report reveals that the company views Judgment Day as the next big faction storyline.

Judgment Day Will Be The Bloodline’s “Successor”

WKRD Wrestling, a Twitter handle that offers wrestling spoilers tweeted something quite interesting during the July 18th edition of WWE NXT. This also happened to be the episode that Dominik snagged the North American title.

As you can see from the tweet above, WRKD is saying that the WWE sees this faction succeeding the Bloodline’s arc when it comes to longevity and fan interest. It also adds that their segments continue to gain interest within the ratings and will be the focal point of shows.

Judgement Day’s History Within The WWE

This stable was originally formed by WWE Hall of Famer, Edge in 2022, following WrestleMania. Damian Priest was the first superstar to join, then Rhea Ripley, then Finn Balor. When Balor joined the group, Edge was kicked out.

Dominik Mysterio would eventually join the stable after SummerSlam last year, and it seems as if the group is finally “complete”. Interestingly enough, the faction has also been accumulating WWE gold and accolades in recent months, which is also a key indicator that they’ll dominate storylines.

Rhea Ripley is a WWE Women’s Champion, Damian Priest is Mr. Money in the Bank this year, and now Dominik is the North American Champ. Meanwhile, Finn Balor is set to face Seth Rollins for the RAW World Heavyweight title at this year’s SummerSlam.

The Bloodline storyline is being dubbed by both fans and wrestling media as one of the best WWE storylines in recent history, if not, of all time. The stable was formed in 2021, and fans were deeply invested in the Anoa’i family drama for about two years.

Will Finn Balor’s stable experience similar success? Only time will tell.
