Jeff Hardy has put his body through so much damage, yet he keeps going. Now, he wants to wrestle another 5 years with a single’s world tittle run.

Jeff Hardy Thinks He Can Wrestle 5 More Years, Win Gold

Jeff Hardy has been wrestling since he was a little kid. Like many fans of pro wrestling, he created a makeshift ring outside his family’s residence.

For most, that is as close as they will ever get to the business. But, not for Jeff or Matt Hardy. Together, the brothers will be considered one of the greatest and most influential teams ever.

Unfortunately, both have/had seen problems with substance abuse. Matt seemed to cleanup his act, while Jeff has moments of great success and failure. As a result, Jeff has been arrested several times over drugs and even spent a short stint behind bars.

While speaking to MuscleManMalcolm, Jeff Hardy stated he somehow wanted to compete for several more years; with a singles title run included.

“It’s the last run, the last good Hardy Boys run,” said Jeff Hardy. “I still have hopes, deep within my soul, that I’m going to have one more solo world championship title reign.”

“I have no idea. I’m a big believer that something could happen before I get home tonight that would end my career. It’s the little things that kill sometimes.”

“I can’t put a number on it, but I feel like I’m going to be rocking until I’m 50. I’m 45 now. Between now and 50, I think I’m going to create many more moments.”

After 10 months away, Jeff retuned to AEW in April. He was quickly removed from TV after another DUI last summer, which resulted in rehab.

Despite returning, Jeff is clearly showing wear and tear as his body is nowhere near perfect. Wrestling the same style for another 5 years seems like a stretch.
