Johnny recently posted a cryptic tweet, which is adding fuel to the fire that a DIY tag team reunion could be coming as early as this Monday Night RAW.
Gargano’s Tweet Has Fans Speculating
This week, Gargano posted something on Twitter that has fans raising their eyebrows. See the tweet below.
Next week’s Monday Night RAW takes place in Cleveland, Ohio. This also happens to be Johnny’s hometown.
Meanwhile, his former DIY tag team partner, Tommaso Ciampa is expected to make a return to television, soon.
He’s been out of action since September 2022 due to injury. His last match was against Bobby Lashley at a WWE house show, and he required surgery in October of that year.
With that being said, reports indicate that Ciampa’s in-ring return is imminent. In fact, it could be sooner than most expect.
The good news is that Tommas offered an update on social media for fans recently and it looks like his recovery is going well. Will is major comeback occur within the next week or so?
A Massive Hint During RAW
Meanwhile, during the May 15th edition of RAW, The Way reunited backstage, and before the segment was over, Gargano stated, “He’s coming back soon”. There’s been massive speculation that the “he”, he was referring to was Tommaso Ciampa.
Big Reboot Likely For Baron Corbin?
The tweet, plus this teasing statement seems to strongly suggest what many fans are hoping for. It looks like the June 19th edition of RAW will not only bring a Ciampa return but also a DIY reunion.
The Cleveland crowd would be pumped to see Lumis, Indi Hartwell, Candace LeRae, as well as the DIY tag team, together again. It’ll be interesting to see if this is how Ciampa makes his splashing comeback to WWE in-ring action.
