This feels like something that gets asked a lot, but is a big reboot likely for Baron Corbin?

Or, is another big reboot likely for Baron Corbin?

Of late, it’s hard to not notice that Corbin is on a bit of a down streak.

In spite of a decent showing against NXT Champion Carmelo Hayes down in Florida, he’s been losing big to guys like Cameron Grimes.

WWE presumably wanted his rebooted Modern Day Wrestling God schtick to work, pairing him with JBL…but that crashed and burned.

Then there was Happy Corbin, and so on and so forth. You get the point.

One could potentially argue that Corbin has not been the same since that bizarre end-of-RAW failed Money In The Bank cash-in.

I mean, Superstars have failed to cash in before…but that one seemed so awkward and detrimental.

So…

And if so, it wouldn’t be just any revamped look for the Superstar.

Going back to the Lone Wolf would probably be great news for Corbin.

That was, after all, the gimmick he worked to pretty good success in NXT. He parlayed that into a main roster call-up, but somewhere along the way…the wolf got lost.

A trip back to the old gimmick could do wonders for Baron Corbin.

That plus a bit of a winning streak would really get him back on track.

And, let’s be frank. Corbin has the size and look and talent that are usually important for a big star.

We just have yet to see it all click for him…but could a reboot change all that?

And, could such a reboot kick in while he’s working a decent program in NXT that could possibly have major title implications?

Or would that title shot be the trigger that resurrects the Lone Wolf?
