A new report reveals an AEW star that has disappeared from television will soon make a return. More on this story, below.

Saraya Is Set For A Comeback

Saraya hasn’t been seen on AEW television since the May 31st episode of Dynamite. It was at that point in time that she teamed up with Chris Jericho to faceoff against Britt Baker and Adam Cole.

Sadly, she and Jericho lost their tag match. After that, Saraya hasn’t been on TV.

According to Fightful Select’s Sean Ross Sapp, fans can expect to see the star on television imminently. No exact timeline or date was provided, but it sounds like it’ll be happening, soon.

The report also did not reveal the reason why she stepped away from action. As per a recent Wrestling Observer Newsletter, the talent was off television due to “undisclosed” reasons.

While AEW does have a loaded roster, they have also ramped up television programming. In addition to the two-hour Dynamite and one-hour Rampage shows, they have recently debuted a new weekly two-hour show, Collision.

Saraya’s Wrestling History Over The Years

Saraya started wrestling at a young age, debuting in her first match at 13 in 2005. She entered the WWE in 2011 and created a powerful impact during her tenure by becoming an NXT Women’s Champion and two-time WWE Divas Champ.

Unfortunately, an injury sidelined her WWE career in 2017 and she officially “retired” in April 2018. She did have a number of non-wrestling roles with the company but left the WWE for good in April 2022.

Some months later that year, she debuted in AEW and was medically cleared to wrestle. Saraya’s been going strong ever since, so it would be great to see her return to in-ring action, sooner rather than later.
