Night of Champions is mere days away, and during an interview, two WWE champions note that they are “struggling” with injuries.

WWE Tag Team Champions Dealing With Injuries Ahead Of Big Match

During an interview on The Bump, Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn talked about their big match on Saturday. Owens notes his wrist is hurting a little from boxing as of late.

Zayn also notes that “weird things” are hurting him, too. His vocal cords, his forearm, and a lot of “little” “nagging” injuries.

With that being said, Sami did clarify that he and Kevin have had to deal with situations like this before. He assured everyone that they will “work through it” for their 2023 Night of Champions match.

Zayn states that he and Owens have been “beaten up” a lot during their careers, but they are good at working through it. He reveals that none of the injuries are hampering their mindset going into the big Saudi Arabia event.

KO and Zayn have a huge challenge in front of them in the days ahead. They defend their tag titles against Roman Reigns and Silo Siko.

Not only are they placing their titles on the line, but the event also marks Reigns’ 1,000-day celebration as champion. Zayn states during The Bump that it’ll be “satisfying” for them to “crash” Roman’s big celebration by ensuring he loses on what should be the “biggest” night of the Tribal Chief’s reign as champ.

Night of Champions takes place this Saturday, May 27th at the Jeddah Super Dome in Saudi, and the card has shaped up nicely. A lot are looking forward to the Big Dog and Solo versus Zayn and KO, but a new World Heavyweight Champion will also be crowned.

Plus, there’s Becky Lynch versus Trish Stratus, Cody Rhodes versus Brock Lesnar, and so much more. Should be an incredible event.
