Tyler Breeze is wrestling for the first time in about two years, but not for WWE or AEW. So, which wrestling company has convinced him to step back in the ring?
Tyler Breeze Is Wrestling His First Match In About 2 Years
Tyler Breeze has not competed inside a pro wrestling ring since May 2020. Although, before the year ends, he will lace those boots up at least once more.
Prestige Wrestling recently announced Breeze will be making his debut for the promotion o September 1.
After a two-year hiatus, former WWE Superstar Tyler Breeze is set to make his long-awaited return to the ring. The show will be called Roseland 6 and comes from Portland, Oregon.
As of now, no opponent has been named.
Breeze’s last match took place on open June 15, 2021. He teamed with Fandango to defeat Imperium’s Ludwig Kaiser and Giovanni Vinci.
His career in WWE was up and down. He was heavily featured in NXT before being sent to the main roster. There, he use his selfie stick for a gimmick similar to the one Austin Theory had upon his arrival on the main roster.
As a singles competitor, Breeze was not really pushed. Then, was paired with Fandango to be known as Breezango. Together, they were a major hit with fans for their comedic side.
When Fandango suffered an injury, Breeze was also pulled from TV. Upon returning, both were sent back to NXT. They were in NXT to help the younger superstars and prepare for the battle against AEW’s Dynamite.
Breeze still appears on Xavier Woods’ popular YouTube channel, “UpUpDownDown,” and was backstage at WrestleMania 39.
Also, he now runs a wrestling school called Flatbacks. AEW wrestler Shawn Spears is also part of the school.
So, since Tyler Breeze is wrestling again, any hope that he rejoins WWE or makes the leap to AEW?
