He’s a respected veteran within WWE, but Dolph Ziggler’s interesting comments posted on social media have raised some eyebrows.

Mine included.

Ziggler has earned his respect within WWE, carving out a long career that includes numerous championships.

But, of late, he’s been working effectively as an enhancement talent of sorts.

Meaning, he’s doing a veteran thing to put over younger or newer talents.

One notable recent interaction has involved Mustafa Ali.

But…let’s get into…

Dolph Ziggler’s Interesting Comments

For context, let’s just share the Tweet.

Right off the bat, the important thing…the electric atmosphere enjoyed by Superstars in Puerto Rico was something that Dolph wished he was a part of.

It would seem likely that many talents who for one reason or another were not on the show might feel the same way.

After all, it was the first big WWE weekend in Puerto Rico in recent memory. Crowds were hot for SmackDown and Backlash, and the shows were a blast.

But…if you keep reading that post, that’s where we really get into Dolph Ziggler’s interesting comments.

Specifically, “Jacksonville is crushing it”.

This likely needs no explanation, but this is a thousand percent about All Elite Wrestling.

And given the timing and the tip of his cap to them, this is undoubtedly about the tremendous ticket sales for AEW’s summer show at London’s Wembley Stadium – All In.

Under the old regime, this could have been something Ziggler would face punishment for.

Now…who knows. It isn’t exactly as if Dolph Ziggler is a top draw now.

Plus, it is a new and interesting time in all of professional wrestling.

Meaning, we see talents talking about and to each other, regardless of who their employer is, more and more.

Plenty of talents in AEW and WWE are and have been friends. Even if some do some crazy things that may have been a publicity stunt.

But, without getting into Ziggler’s WWE contract…it’s clear he’s enjoying AEW’s success.

And a talent like Dolph is certainly someone AEW would like to bring in.

However, this might just be Dolph being a realist. A big event like Backlash going well is good for business for all.

So too is a successful show in London, selling 70,000+ tickets, regardless of who runs it.
