We haven’t seen her since WrestleMania, so what is Charlotte Flair’s next big move?

Flair, of course, made a surprise return on the final SmackDown of 2022.

As part of her surprising return, Charlotte challenged-and defeated-Ronda Rousey, giving fans an unexpected title change.

The title change led us to a big WrestleMania title match, with Charlotte Flair defending against the 2023 Royal Rumble winner Rhea Ripley.

Ripley defeated Charlotte on Night 1, a match that some suspected deserved to be a main event match.

We saw Flair, after the match, look happy at the performance. And we have not seen her since.

So what is Charlotte’s next big move?

Flair, of course, was drafted to SmackDown as part of the latest WWE Draft re-shuffling.

Someone else who was? Bianca Belair.

Belair was drafted over while being the current RAW Women’s Champion.

Rhea Ripley, currently the SmackDown Women’s Champion, was drafted to RAW. It seems we can expect a belt swap shortly.

So, with Belair going to SmackDown…she’s going to need someone to battle, right?

Enter Charlotte Flair, and what comes next becomes pretty simple.

Flair has been off television, but according to the Wrestling Observer, that won’t be the case much longer.

Expectation is that Charlotte will return, turn heel, and become Belair’s latest challenger as she enjoys an incredibly long title run of her own.

On one hand, this feels like a lazy move.

Lazy, because it seems super predictable.

She’s been a heel often, and she finds herself easily in the title mix.

Unless they have Flair work a program and not win the title, this could be a downer.

I’d rather see WWE put the title next on someone like IYO SKY, or even get Bayley the title run she seemed primed for last year.

However, on the other hand, it seems like a safe move.

Charlotte Flair should give Bianca Belair a good run for her money.

One would think Belair’s long reign could be winding down, and having Flair take the title would also give Charlotte yet another title win as she gets closer to breaker her dad’s all-time record.
