Potential Spoiler On The Rock’s Next WWE Appearance Date Revealed

A new WWE rumor may have revealed the date for The Rock’s next television appearance.

The Rock has become a unique part of WWE TV over the last year. During the previous decade, the Hollywood superstar played the role of a company legend who would make unexpected appearances and then disappear for months or years.

However, now as a WWE board member, he has decided to get much more hands-on with the product than he has in recent years. His movie career cooling off likely is part of the reason, but his disappointments in Hollywood are a win for wrestling fans around the world.

The expectation for months is that the company will eventually begin a build toward a match between “The Great One” and the current WWE Champion Cody Rhodes at WrestleMania. Earlier this month, The Rock made a surprise appearance at Bad Blood to show fans he is still hanging in the shadows, waiting for the right moment to pounce.

Well, when that moment may be, as well as some new intel on his Bad Blood appearance has been revealed.

The Rock’s next WWE appearance could be at Monday Night Raw debut on Netflix

On Monday night, the popular X wrestling news account WrestlePurists reported that “The Rock’s appearance at WWE Bad Blood didn’t have a lot of heavy planning, but the possibility became a reality in the weeks prior.” The outlet suggested that was the reason why the tag match featuring Cody Rhodes and Roman Reigns closed the event instead of the hell-in-the-cell match between CM Punk and Drew McIntyre.

However, WrestlePurists also dropped another nugget of intelligence that could point to when WWE fans can expect The Rock to next show up. Sources at the Intuit Dome were hopeful The Rock would be present at the first WWE Raw on Netflix, and there’s buzz internally for it, even though it’s not confirmed.

It would certainly make a ton of sense for “The Final Boss” to be in attendance for the promotion’s debut on the streaming giant, which is planned for January 6th or 7th. All reports are that WWE wants to make the most of those first episodes on Netflix.

It is certainly possible The Rock could appear before then. But considering his busy schedule, waiting until January for his return trends with his previous appearance history.
