We have not seen Seth Rollins since WrestleMania 40 as he underwent knee surgery and here is the latest on his WWE return.

At WrestleMania 40, Seth Rollins worked harder than anybody else. On night one, Rollins & Cody Rhodes lost to The Rock & Roman Reigns. Then, on night two, Rollins dropped the World Heavyweight Championship. Before the night was over, he got involved in the main event. Many are calling his actions the reason Roman Reigns is no longer champion.Â
Since then, we have not seen Rollins on TV. Heading into WrestleMania, the former champion was nowhere near 100%. If you recall, he injured his knee earlier in the year when working briefly with Jinder Mahal. In an update, Fightful Select notes how everything is going well for Rollins post-surgery.
Seth Rollins Return Date Still Not Clear
There remains no word on a possible return date. He worked extremely hard and deserves time to rest. Rollins did re-sign with WWE recently, in a move that will keep there close until retirement. His wife, Becky Lynch, has not re-signed and she is a free-agent. Although, the belief is she will not be leaving. Honestly, both are probably enjoying time with themselves and family.Â
Whenever Rollins is cleared to return, there are plenty of storylines for him. I am curious to see if Reigns comes back as a face, how this will affect Rollins. They could feud or work together like during their time as The Shield. The way WWE booked Rollins’ departure from TV at WrestleMania means they have several options. So, does the latest Seth Rollins WWE return update from knee surgery sound promising?
