With the mega event almost here, it appears a potential WrestleMania 40 spoiler has leaked; stating some confirmed wrestlers to be replaced.

Nothing is official until the bell rings and we warned of some late WrestleMania 40 changes possibly coming. In particular, almost all focus was on the Tag Team Championship Ladder Match. Austin Theory and Grayson Waller were the leading options to be swapped out. According to Dave Meltzer’s recent report, there does appear to be truth to that rumor. Meltzer said, “The one thing from the lineup last week was that Pretty Deadly was listed in the tag team ladder match.” It is certainly possible, after scoring a major upset over Kevin Owens & Randy Orton on SmackDown.

If WWE was to remove Theory and Waller, they would likely still appear. Talk is of a potential in-ring segment with the likes of Steve Austin and some other famous names who are retired. They would love the belts, but a chance to share the ring with legends is too difficult to pass up. Pretty Deadly (Elton Prince and Kit Wilson) are entertaining and while they won’t win the titles, they should create moments.

In the past, some huge stories have been leaked online. For example, we all knew Sting would be at Survivor Series and Edge being cleared to wrestle again. Then, other secrets are kept silent such as CM Punk returning at Survivor Series and Brock Lesnar ending Undertaker’s WrestleMania Steak. Honestly, I hate when major spoilers leak, as it totally ruins the moment when it finally happens. The unpredictable surprises are what makes wrestling intersting. So, if the latest potential WWE WrestleMania 40 spoiler is true, will that improve the card?
