For over a year, Dominik Mysterio has been hanging with Rhea Ripley. Everything was looking good until Rhea vacated her championship due to injury. A few months later and she returned to WWE TV. Although, while away, Liv Morgan had been flirting with Dominik as she was determined to ruin Rhea. SummerSlam opened with Dominik turning on Rhea. Then, The Judgement Day saw another major change as Damian Priest was also removed from the stable.
According to PWInsider, WWE is very happy with Liv Morgan and Dominik Mysterio. They have received high marks for their interactions during promos and at ringside. WWE sees the two have great chemistry together, which makes the storyline even more compelling. For months, the have two clicked and both are being elevated because of the storyline.
WWE Bash In Berlin Likely To Feature Mixed Tag Team Match
Going forward, fallout from SummerSlam will continue into the fall. In a possible spoiler, Cory Hays of Pro Wrestling Nexus noted how Bash In Berlin will see a mixed tag match. The idea is for Morgan & Mysterio against Ripley & Priest. And, that match makes total sense. I would imagine the new version of The Judgement Day will play a pivotal role.
Bash In Berlin is August 31 from Berlin, Germany’s Uber Arena. While WWE has been there before, this will mark the first time for a pay per view. Confirmed matches are Cody Rhodes vs Kevin Owens and Gunther vs Randy Orton. Personally, adding a mixed tag team match would be a nice addition.
